The Hong Kong Career Development Forum 2026 marks the inaugural gathering of career development practitioners, researchers, and educators across Hong Kong. At a time when the world of work is shifting rapidly, the professionals who guide others through career transitions have never been more essential — or more in need of a community of their own.

This forum brings us together to share what we know, reflect on what we do, and imagine where our field is headed. Whether you come as a practitioner with years of frontline experience, a researcher building the evidence base, or an educator shaping the next generation — you belong here.

香港職涯發展論壇 2026 是香港職涯發展從業者、研究者與教育工作者的首次年度聚會。在職場急速變化的時代,引導他人走過職涯轉折的專業人士,從未如此不可或缺——也從未如此需要一個屬於自己的社群。

This subtheme invites practitioners to share the approaches, tools, and methods that shape their day-to-day work — from coaching techniques and assessment frameworks to creative and experiential methods. We welcome case studies, reflective accounts, and innovations in practice.

Hong Kong's workforce is diverse, mobile, and constantly evolving. This subtheme explores the varied populations we serve — young people navigating first careers, mid-career professionals in transition, migrants and returnees, and those facing structural changes in the labour market.

What we know: research, theory, and reflective practice

Good practice is grounded in evidence. This subtheme welcomes research and inquiry in career development — quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods — as well as theoretical frameworks, literature reviews, and practitioner-led reflective inquiry. Published and unpublished works are equally welcome.

良好的實踐根植於實證。本副題歡迎職涯發展領域的各類研究與探究——量化、質性或混合方法——以及理論框架、文獻回顧與從業者主導的反思探究。已發表及未發表的作品均歡迎投稿。
